I have HORRIBLE feet and I have to wear custom orthotics that I thought only would fit in these little boy boots that I have been wearing for 5 years. She is not diabetic but we couldn’t find any shoes that did not rub on her feet causing sores. I was so happy! So for Christmas this year I bought her a brand new pair since hers were looking worn. She has recently purchased another pair of Dr. Comfort Shoes and is very happy with them. She is still becoming comfortable with the new shoes, consequently the jury is still out regarding the proper fit. She is however very confident that they will work out for her.

Everything accomodated well in each shoe, fits well, with no discomfort. Didn't like the elastic laces, appreciated the regular laces included.

I am going to return them and get the regular ones not the extra deep ones and get 1/2 size smaller. These are a wide shoe even when ordering a regular size in my opinion. I do wear wide shoes usually.

Lynn from NC   January 08, 2015	Reviewer's Comment: This is a great sneaker-athletic shoe, in the extra wide width, straight from the box, to wear because of calluses, bunions, or with orthotics and AFO'S. The inlays work well and also I tried the overcalf socks. A-h-h-h, Dr. Comfort!! Can't always wear your dressier shoes because of my braces but I wore these Refresh 3 days straight to break in with no problem quite and am pleased.Thank you for this design - will just need to practice adjusting the shoestrings when it is time to change out.
